happy new year

wishing you a happy new year.

around here we have been doing a lot of this.

 plenty legos to be built.

 we spent christmas eve at my parents' house. the boys love their tita.

we left santa some hot chocolate to wash down the cookies.
we enjoyed a quiet calm christmas day visiting family.

i don't know about you but after christmas i like to put away the decorations,
clean and reorganize things that have long been over due.

i finally was able to style my bookcases. pictures to come soon.
my living room doesn't get much light and i need to wait for a sunny day to take pictures.

i am looking forward to this new year.
i hold on to God's promise to us in jeremiah 29:11

I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out-

nothing like a{mandalorian}lego man to save the day.

legos have invaded my home for some time now.

i can't imagine my boys not playing with legos.

number one loves them and loves to create.

they are so great for a young child to build create, take apart and build again

number one spends hours creating.

all of these are his creations.

grateful for boys with such creative minds.

i love the look on his face when he is building.

 homemade chocolate cake always tastes better

 

birthday parties are about spending time with family and friends



he was so cute giving his thank you speech

evidence that fun had been had and m &m's were eaten 

so much for my cute centerpieces

we had lots of fun.

we are so blessed to have such great family and friends.

it is my hope that as my children grow they will remember these special moments

and know that they are loved.
